Neil Titley will introduce two short films to celebrate the Centenary of George Bernard Shaw receiving the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1926.

“An Interview with Sir Michael Holroyd” (30 mins) Directed by Neil Titley. Celebrated biographer Sir Michael Holroyd shares fascinating insights into Shaw's life.

“Shaw’s Corner” (45 mins).  Written by Neil Titley, directed by Antony Sellers.

A powerful one-man show starring the illustrious Dermot Walsh, portraying Shaw towards the end of his life.

In conversation with Neil Titley. Filmed in 1988

Sir Michael Holroyd is famed for his biographies especially that of George Bernard Shaw. His distinguished career has included becoming President of The Royal Society of Literature, and of The Shaw Society and Honorary Patron of The Oscar Wilde Society. This interview is studded with his fascinating insights into G.B.S. (30 mins)

This solo show was created in 1987 and first performed on stage by Malcolm Wroe. The Arts Channel TV production stars the Irish actor Dermot Walsh, well known in the title

role of the 1960s series 'Richard the Lionheart', In 1949, he appeared in the first production of 'Buoyant Billions', overseen by G.B.S. himself (45mins).
